Affiliate Disclosure

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click and buy, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Basically, you support my book habit and I appreciate you deeply.

What this means

Affiliate links are special tracking links provided by companies I work with. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission. You do not pay more because of this. The price stays exactly the same for you.

Why I use affiliate links

Running a blog takes time, energy, and more books than I would like to admit. Affiliate commissions help support:

  • Book purchases that I end up reviewing
  • Website hosting and maintenance
  • Time spent writing reviews, guides, and book club content

In short, affiliate links help keep Shelfie Sorcery running without turning this into a pop-up nightmare.

What I link to

I only include affiliate links for products, books, or services I genuinely use, love, or would personally recommend. This includes things like books, bookish gifts, reading accessories, and occasionally non-book items that fit the vibe.

An affiliate link does not influence my opinions. If I do not like something, I will say so. Commission or not.

Sponsored content

From time to time, I may work with publishers, brands, or platforms on sponsored content (dreaming big here). If a post is sponsored or I received something for free, that information will always be clearly disclosed within the post.

All opinions shared on this site are my own, regardless of how a product or book was obtained.

Transparency matters

I believe trust matters more than clicks. Affiliate links are always disclosed clearly so you can make informed decisions while browsing my content.

If you ever have questions about affiliate links, partnerships, or disclosures, feel free to reach out through the contact page.

Thanks for being here and for supporting Shelfie Sorcery. It truly means the world.

I’m Jenn,

a Puerto Rican bookstagrammer based in Austin, Texas.

This is a space that celebrates thought, culture, and identity, with books as the foundation for knowledge and power. I care about what we read and why we read it.

I know stories shape how we think, how we see each other, and how we move through the world.

Shelfie Sorcery is built on thoughtful curations, where recommendations are made with intention.

If I’m recommending something to you, it’s because I truly believe it could add value to you.

In addition to book recommendations, you’ll find the things that are quintessentially me: rainbow shelves, nerd culture, and the occasional sassy commentary. You can’t see my facial expressions, but trust me, they’re there.
